Today, February 6, 2024, SDO Laguna simultaneously conducts Cluster Level Roll-out Training of Early Language Literacy and Numeracy Focusing on the Science of Reading (February 6-8, 2024) in six clusters namely: Siniloan, Paete, Sta.Cruz, Bay, Magdalena, and Rizal.

Elementary School heads from 24 sub-offices of SDO Laguna convene to participate in this three-day training. This is to upskill them to use knowledge-based pedagogy to become effective reading planners; provide technical assistance to K to 3 teachers; and promote and sustain a culture of reading in schools and even in the communities.

Our Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Editha M. Atendido, CESO V, together with her co-lead ASDSs, Sir Jaypee E. Lopo and Sir Buddy Chester M. Repia, visit each cluster and give inspiration to all. They are really hands-on with all the activities manifesting the SDO’s mantra: Edukasyong Tama Tunay na Kalinga, Bata ang Una sa DepEd Laguna.

Headed by our CID Chief Dr. Orlando T. Valverde, EPS in Kindergarten/ELLN, Dr. Jane A. Suazo and EPS in Filipino Dr. Zarina G. Llarena the presence of all the leaders assigned in each cluster made the monitoring of each progress notable and making sure of its realization and full implementation in the field.
